Every team is guaranteed multiple games through pool play, followed by seeded single-elimination tournament brackets. No team goes home after one game.

Pelican Rapids is the gateway to Maplewood State Park and Minnesota lake country. Play ball during the day — hit the lakes and local establishments after. Summer starts here.
A Pelican Rapids Tradition
Founded in 1994 by longtime coaches Dave Rund and Doug Bruggeman, the Shada has grown into a summer institution — promoting basketball, fundraising for local youth programs, and bringing thousands of players and families to Pelican Rapids each June.
